Back Office Support Services was formed in 1998 and is one of the most established and experienced Back Office providers in the UK. Back Office is a specialist provider, concentrating exclusively on supporting the recruitment agency industry.
Through the various services we offer we have gained vast experience of working with various 3rd party Vendor Management Software (VMS) providers. Having witnessed first-hand some of the difficulties that face our agencies and their end users alike we recognised that the situation needed to be improved… and so Concerto was born!
Concerto is a secure, cloud based system which takes on board the benefits of the existing system offerings, whilst eliminating the negative aspects (such as low margins for agencies, high uncertainty, poor communication channels & one-sided working relationships).
Our goal is to provide the S.M.E. players in the marketplace with an IT tool which can enable them to compete with the IT systems muscle of the larger players – whilst retaining the higher customer service ethos, endeavour, flexibility and quality that are their hallmark.
Whilst arguably empowering David vs Goliath, the business model is also designed to confront the strategic weakness of many “pseudo recruiters” by replacing their faceless, self-interested facilitator role with a genuine 1st tier recruitment agency as the linking party between End-User and the staff providers. Thus, enhancing the service quality and growing a harmonious, mutually cooperative methodology to replace the arms-length “dealer” approach.
